A better understanding of the SDGs and the SSE

European and international definitions

The YESSS partners decided to create a document with a summary of the national and international definitions provided by the most relevant entities in the field of Social Responsibility, Social Economy and the 2030 Agenda.

Here is the document in English: https://yessserasmus.eu/wp-content/uploads/2024/02/Definitions-Selection-Grid-1.pdf

Comparison between partners’ countries

To better understand the key challenges surrounding the SDGs and social entrepreneurship, we compared national definitions between our countries: France, Spain, Italy, Denmark, Cyprus and Turkey. This work enabled us to carry out an in-depth analysis of our similarities and differences.

Here is the document in English: https://yessserasmus.eu/wp-content/uploads/2024/03/Simplified-table-of-definitions-for-platform.pdf

We completed this document with an analysis of the criteria that came up most often in the definitions of the social economy, solidarity, social entrepreneurship, social impact, youth workers, alignment with the SDGs, etc.
